Find a
book
Placing your order is easy. If you are a first-time user, register
and then login using your username and password. To locate a book, start
browsing by clicking on one of categories, or key-in any information about
a book you are looking for (eg. author, ISBN no or title) in the Search
box, located at the top of every page. When you find a book, click on "See
Details". You will then be taken to the book's information page
where you can view more details about the book, availability, prices (in
three different regions) and book review. |

Buy a book
Click on "Click here to order" button on the book's
information page. Once you've added the first item, you will see
your Shopping Cart, listing the items you currently ordered. Choose
a region to view the correct prices you will be billed according
to your shipping address. Your shipping charges will be added and
shown to you as you proceed to Check Out.
If you would like to continue shopping and add more books to your
cart, click on "Continue Shopping" button to keep
browsing until your cart contains all of the books you want. You
can view the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking
the Shopping Cart icon at the top of every page of our website.

Review
your order
Review the books you selected in your Shopping Cart. If you want to
remove an item, check on the "Remove" box and click on "Update
Cart" to see the new amount. If you would like to buy more
than one copy of a book, make the changes by adding a number in the
"Qty" box, and click on "Update Cart"
to re-calculate the new amount. |

Check
Out
Once you have finished adding books in your Shopping Cart and satisfied
with its contents, click on "Proceed
to Checkout" button. You will be taken to the Order Form. |

Order
Form
At the Order Form page, your details such as your name, full address, your
telephone number and your email address which you provided in your registration
profile, will appear automatically. Please make sure your email and shipping
addresses are valid and correct. Once you place your order, we will send
you a confirmation email message. Please go back to your Shopping Cart if
you would like to change the shipping destination country. Next, select
your Shipping Methods (see under Shipping). |

Make
Your Payment
You will then be taken to our secure payment site managed by our payment
vendor Mobile88.com. Key-in your credit card details, and press "Submit".
Please wait a few seconds while your credit card is authorized. (For more,
please read under Payment Method and Security.) |

Receipt
Once our credit card is authorized, you will see your Receipt page indicating the completion of your order. You can print
this page for reference. A copy of this will be emailed to you once your order is shipped.

Shipping
Methods
Malaysia: We use the standard postal service provided
by Pos Malaysia Berhad to ship to anywhere within Malaysia. We do not charge
for postage within Malaysia. It normally takes 2-5 days for delivery in
Peninsula Malaysia, and 7-14 days for Sabah and Sarawak. Delivery to Sabah
and Sarawak may be delayed. If you suspect your parcel is lost, please email
us quoting the Order ID.
All others: We ship virtually any address in the
world. You have the option to have your books shipped either via Airmail
or Fed Ex courier service. All books by airmail will be sent by parcel Airmail. |

Difference
between Airmail and Fed Ex
For a start, Airmail costs much less than Fed Ex, and takes approximately
7-14 days for delivery. Fed Ex courier service usually takes only
3 working days for delivery. Another advantage of Fed Ex is that you
can track your package via the Fed Ex website, using the tracking
number we will provide you by email once the book is shipped. |

Shipping
costs
Shipping costs are calculated based upon total weight of the books
you ordered and your preferred shipping method. Airmail cost is based
on rates provided by Pos Malaysia Berhad and Fed Ex rates are provided
by Federal Express Services (Malaysia). We have converted these rates
to the nearest S$ and B$ equivalent (if your shipping address in Singapore/Brunei)
and US$ (for all others). |

Credit card
and Online Transfer
We accept credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and online transaction from
Maybank2U, Alliance Bank, RHB Bank, Hong Leong Bank and Internet Banking
- MEPS FPX. All prices in Singapore, Brunei and US dollars will be converted
to Malaysian Ringgit (RM) according to the nearest exchange rate as
follows:
1.00 Singapore and Brunei dollar = 2.30 Malaysian ringgit.
1.00 US dollar = 3.40 Malaysian ringgit.
Please note the above rates are subject to revision from time to time and
will be published here accordingly. When you get your credit card statement,
this amount will be shown in your local currency equivalent under the name
"mobile88.com". Due to currency fluctuation, you will notice a
small difference in the amount deducted. |

Security and Privacy
Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard for secure
online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information,
including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read
as the information travels over the Internet.
Our payment gateway is 3D compliant. This means holders of Visa or Mastercard
issued by banks who integrate their system with 3D layer need to register
themselves and obtain a password before they can make future purchases.
This ensures your card is used only by you, and all future purchases will
need this password. Some cardholders will be prompted automatically to
obtain their password online (the first time they use their cards on a
3D compliant gateaway such as ours). If you have difficulty getting your
credit card authorized due to 3D issues, it is advisable to contact your
bank.

Other payment
methods
The option to pay by cheque, money order or bank draft (all drawn on a Malaysian
bank/postal office) is available for shipping addresses within Malaysia.
You may browse our books online and make the order together with your payment
payable to 'The Other Press Sdn Bhd' and mailed to us directly. You
may also use the form in our Catalogue. If you would like a copy, please
fill up and submit the Catalogue
Request Form (for Malaysian addresses only). We do not charge postage
for orders from within Malaysia.. |

| RETURN POLICY |

Defective or damaged books
While we ensure that all books are packed in a way that can avoid
any damage, it is beyond our control how your package is handled
during transit, resulting in possible damage to the book on arrival.
In rare instances, the copy you receive may be defective due to
printing errors such as missing or blank pages.
In such cases, we will replace your damaged or defective copy with
a new one -- free of charge -- provided you return the said book
within 30 days from date of delivery. We will also pay the cost
of shipping the damaged or defective copy to us. Should we be unable
to replace your book, we will refund you the full amount. Please
notify us by filling up the Return Notification Form (click here)
before shipping your damaged or defective book.

Incorrect title
The above also applies if you receive a different title than the
one you ordered.
Please note that we are unable to exchange books other than those
which are damaged on delivery, defective or incorrect title.
